Cancellation Policy for Private Lessons
We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that may require you to cancel your fencing lesson or class. In order to provide the best possible service to all of our members, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Payment and Booking Policy
Private lessons must be paid for in advance to secure the booking. Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or online payment.
Cancellation Policy with 48+ Hours Notice
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 48 hours notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellation Policy with Less than 48 Hours Notice
If a student is unable to attend a lesson due to illness, a doctor's note confirming the illness must be provided at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson to receive a full refund. If the note is provided less than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
Late Policy
If a student is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled lesson, the coach reserves the right to cancel the lesson and charge the full lesson fee.
Coach Cancellation Policy
If a coach needs to cancel a lesson for any reason, the student will be notified as soon as possible and will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Cancellation Policy for Membership Classes
Our Membership Class Cancellation Policy outlines the guidelines for cancelling and rescheduling classes for our regular membership program.
Payment and Booking Policy
Memberships are paid for in advance at the beginning of each month or at the original payment starting date. Payment can be made via cash, credit/debit card, or online payment.
Cancellation Policy with 24+ Hours Notice
If a member needs to cancel a class, they must provide at least 24 hours notice to receive a makeup class credit. Makeup classes must be scheduled within the same month as the missed class and are subject to availability.
Illness Cancellation Policy with Doctor's Note
If a member is unable to attend a class due to illness, they must provide a doctor's note confirming the illness to receive a makeup class credit. The note must be provided within the same month as the missed class and makeup classes are subject to availability.
Late Policy
If a member is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled class, and without the express permission of the coach, they may not be permitted to participate in the class and will not be eligible for a makeup class credit.
Coach Cancellation Policy
If a coach needs to cancel a class for any reason, the member will be notified as soon as possible and a makeup class will be scheduled at no additional cost.
